Costa Teguise is located on the eastern side of the Island. It is close to the capital, Arrecife and only a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Costa Teguise is one of the most attractive resorts on the Island, thanks to its many beaches and small squares offering a wide variety of pubs, restaurants with wonderful sea views and recreational activities. It is one of the preferred destinations for families.

There are several windsurfing schools here and one of the main events every year is the Windsurfing World Championships held at Cucharas beach in June.

Another very popular beach is that of Playa Bastian which is ideal for families with small children as it is more protected from the winds.

There is a market held every Friday evening in Pueblo Marinero (fishing village) which is surrounded by a cluster of typical Canarian houses as conceived by the artist Cesar Manrique.

There is a golf course and a large water park in Costa Teguise and more recently an Aquarium.
